CVE-2021-44002 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Jt1001.dll affecting JT Open (all versions < V11.1.1.0), JT Utilities (all versions < V13.1.1.0), and Solid Edge (all versions < V2023), including Siemens JT2Go and Teamcenter Visualization. This flaw, rated High severity (CVSS 7.8), allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted JT file. While the vulnerability has a high potential impact (confidentiality, integrity, and availability), there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
