CVE-2021-43838

CVE-2021-43838 is a Regular Expression Denial-of-Service (ReDoS) vulnerability affecting jsx-slack versions prior to 4.5.1, a library used for building Slack Block Kit JSON objects from JSX. An attacker can trigger this by injecting a large number of JSX elements within a 'blockquote' tag, causing an internal regular expression to consume excessive computing resources. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability has a network attack vector and low attack complexity, potentially leading to a denial of service.
