CVE-2021-43667 is a high-severity denial-of-service vulnerability affecting HyperLedger Fabric versions 1.4.0, 2.0.0, and 2.1.0. An unauthenticated attacker can remotely crash a leader node by sending a specially crafted message with a nil payload to the 'forwardToLeader' method. While the vulnerability has been patched by developers, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding it.
