CVE-2021-43336

CVE-2021-43336 is an Out-of-Bounds Write vulnerability in the Open Design Alliance Drawings SDK, affecting various products including Siemens Solid Edge and Teamcenter Visualization. It allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code by crafting malicious DXF or DWG files with an invalid number of properties, triggering a write operation beyond allocated buffer boundaries. Rated 7.8 HIGH, this vulnerability requires user interaction (UI:R) to open the malicious file, but has low attack complexity (AC:L) and can lead to high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts.
