CVE-2021-40174 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Zoho ManageEngine Log360, affecting versions prior to Build 5224. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.8) allows an unauthenticated attacker to disable logon security settings, potentially leading to unauthorized access and compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While the vulnerability requires user interaction (UI:R), its network-based attack vector and low attack complexity make it a significant risk. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
