CVE-2021-40160 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting PDFTron versions prior to 9.0.7, including those integrated into Autodesk products. It allows for arbitrary code execution when processing a specially crafted PDF, due to an out-of-bounds read. The attack requires user interaction (UI:R) and local access (AV:L), but has high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability (C:H/I:H/A:H).
