CVE-2021-39271 is a high-severity remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting OrbiTeam BSCW Classic versions prior to 7.4.3, as well as specific older versions. An authenticated attacker can exploit this by uploading a specially crafted .bscw file containing malicious Python code, which is then executed during archive extraction. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability allows for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
