CVE-2021-36767

29
FAUCET Score

CVE-2021-36767 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting Digi RealPort versions through 4.10.490. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit a weak challenge-response mechanism to obtain a weakly-hashed server password, which can then be cracked offline to gain full access. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability poses a severe risk of complete compromise (confidentiality, integrity, and availability). Despite its criticality, there is currently no public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) and minimal community discussion or media coverage, indicating it is not actively exploited in the wild.
