CVE-2021-36460 affects VeryFitPro (com.veryfit2hr.second) version 3.2.8, where the application locally hashes user passwords and uses this hash for all backend API authentication, including login and registration. This design flaw, rated 7.8 HIGH on CVSS, allows an attacker with access to a user's password hash to fully compromise their account, negating the security benefits of server-side password hashing.
