CVE-2021-36338 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting Unisphere for PowerMax versions prior to 9.2.2.2, as well as several other Dell PowerMax and Unisphere products. An adjacent, authenticated malicious user could exploit this with low complexity to gain elevated privileges, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While a partial fix was addressed in CVE-2022-31233, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
