CVE-2021-34995 is a critical arbitrary code execution vulnerability affecting Commvault CommCell 11.22.22. The flaw, residing in the DownloadCenterUploadHandler class, stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied data, permitting the upload of arbitrary files. This allows an authenticated attacker to bypass the authentication mechanism and execute code with NETWORK SERVICE privileges, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
