CVE-2021-34769 describes multiple denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerabilities in Cisco IOS XE Software for Catalyst 9000 Family Wireless Controllers. These flaws stem from insufficient validation of CAPWAP packets, allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to send a malformed packet and cause the device to crash and reload. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, leading to a complete loss of availability.
