CVE-2021-33484 is a high-severity vulnerability in OnyakTech Comments Pro 3.8, allowing attackers to spoof user identities. By decompiling the installer, an attacker can discover a hardcoded Initialization Vector (IV) and decrypt an encryption key, enabling them to encrypt arbitrary user IDs and usernames. This allows for unauthorized comment posting under another user's identity. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.5 (High) due to its network-based attack vector and low attack complexity, leading to high confidentiality impact.
