CVE-2021-30183 describes a cleartext storage vulnerability in multiple versions of Octopus Server. During import or export operations, the password used for encryption/decryption was inadvertently written to logs in plaintext, potentially exposing sensitive information. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and no user interaction required, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to achieve high confidentiality impact by accessing these logs.
