CVE-2021-28830 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability affecting multiple TIBCO Spotfire and Enterprise Runtime for R products on Windows. A low-privileged attacker with local access can insert malicious software that the vulnerable component will execute with elevated privileges due to its search for run-time artifacts outside its installation directory.
