CVE-2021-24171 is a critical vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce Upload Files WordPress plugin prior to version 59.4. Attackers could bypass file extension sanitization by embedding blocked extensions or using a double extension attack with path traversal, allowing arbitrary file uploads, including PHP files. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
