CVE-2021-23275 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the Windows installation components of several TIBCO products, including TIBCO Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition, TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform, TIBCO Spotfire Server, and TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services. The vulnerability stems from insufficient access restrictions on certain installation files or folders, allowing a low-privileged local attacker to insert and execute malicious software with elevated privileges.
