CVE-2021-21897 is a high-severity code execution vulnerability affecting Ribbonsoft dxflib 3.17.0, as well as Debian and Fedora Project distributions. It stems from a heap buffer overflow in the DL_Dxf::handleLWPolylineData function, triggered by a specially crafted .dxf file. With a CVSS score of 8.8, this vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to achieve high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability through user interaction.
