CVE-2020-9543 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting OpenStack Manila versions prior to 7.4.1, 8.0.0 to 8.1.0, and 9.0.0 to 9.1.0. This flaw, stemming from a context-free UUID lookup, allows authenticated attackers to view, modify, delete, or share resources belonging to other users, and create new resources on their share networks. With a CVSS score of 8.3 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges and no user interaction, leading to high confidentiality and integrity impacts, and a partial availability impact. There is currently no public exploit code available, no evidence of active exploitation, and minimal community discussion surrounding this CVE.
