CVE-2020-8791 describes an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the OKLOK (3.1.1) mobile app for the Fingerprint Bluetooth Padlock FB50 (2.3). This flaw allows authenticated but unauthorized attackers to submit API requests using their own token to access data associated with arbitrary user IDs. The vulnerability is rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.5) due to its network attack vector, low attack complexity, and high potential for confidentiality impact, enabling the harvesting of sensitive user data like email addresses and unsalted MD5 password hashes. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
