CVE-2020-8028 describes an Improper Access Control vulnerability in the salt configuration of various SUSE Manager products, including SUSE Linux Enterprise Module for SUSE Manager Server 4.1, SUSE Manager Proxy 4.0, SUSE Manager Retail Branch Server 4.0, SUSE Manager Server 3.2, and SUSE Manager Server 4.0. This critical vulnerability (CVSS 9.3) allows local users to escalate privileges to root on all systems managed by SUSE Manager, and potentially on the managing node itself.
