CVE-2020-7695

20
FAUCET Score

CVE-2020-7695 describes an HTTP response splitting vulnerability in Uvicorn versions prior to 0.11.7, affecting the 'encode' and 'uvicorn' products. This flaw allows attackers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers or even an entire response body by exploiting unescaped CRLF sequences in crafted input used to construct HTTP headers. Rated as MEDIUM severity (CVSS 5.3), it has a low impact on integrity and no impact on confidentiality or availability, requiring no user interaction and being exploitable over the network with low attack complexity. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
