26
FAUCET Score

CVE-2020-6836 is a critical arbitrary code injection vulnerability affecting the hot-formula-parser package before version 3.0.1 for Node.js. The vulnerability stems from improper sanitization of user-controlled input passed to the parse function, which is then concatenated into an eval call. This allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the server with high impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While rated as critical with a CVSS score of 9.8, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
