CVE-2020-35580

40
FAUCET Score

CVE-2020-35580 is a local file inclusion vulnerability affecting all SearchBlox versions prior to 9.2.2. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files from the operating system, including sensitive SearchBlox configuration files containing API keys and hashed user passwords. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no user interaction, leading to high confidentiality impact. While not currently on the KEV catalog or Hot List, and with no public Metasploit or ExploitDB modules, Nuclei templates exist for detection, and its high EPSS score suggests a significant likelihood of future exploitation. Community discussion and media coverage are minimal.
