CVE-2020-3443 is a privilege escalation vulnerability in Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem (SSM On-Prem) that allows an authenticated, remote attacker to gain higher privileges. The flaw stems from insufficient authorization for the System Operator role, enabling an attacker to assume a more privileged role, potentially gaining full administrative control. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
