CVE-2020-3428 describes a denial-of-service vulnerability in the WLAN Local Profiling feature of Cisco IOS XE Wireless Controller Software for the Catalyst 9000 Family. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted HTTP packet, leading to incorrect parsing and device reboot. Rated 6.5 Medium, the attack requires adjacent network access but is low complexity with no user interaction, resulting in high availability impact.
