CVE-2020-3143 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the video endpoint API (xAPI) of Cisco TelePresence Collaboration Endpoint (CE) Software, Cisco TelePresence Codec (TC) Software, and Cisco RoomOS Software. An authenticated, remote attacker with In-Room Control or administrator privileges could exploit this by sending a crafted request to the xAPI due to insufficient input validation. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.2 (High) and could allow an attacker to read and write arbitrary files on the system, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
