CVE-2020-29495 is a critical OS Command Injection vulnerability in the Fitness Analyzer component of DELL EMC Avamar Server versions 19.1, 19.2, and 19.3, as well as Dell EMC Integrated Data Protection Appliance. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands with high privileges, potentially leading to full compromise of the application and underlying operating system. With a CVSS score of 10.0 (Critical), the vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, resulting in complete confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. While Dell recommends immediate upgrades, there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) and minimal community discussion or media coverage, indicating it is not actively exploited or widely known.
