CVE-2020-29494 is a path traversal vulnerability in the PDM component of Dell EMC Avamar Server versions 19.1, 19.2, and 19.3, as well as Dell EMC Integrated Data Protection Appliance. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 8.7) allows a remote, authenticated attacker to gain unauthorized write access to arbitrary files on the server filesystem, potentially leading to file deletion.
