CVE-2020-29055 describes a cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability affecting numerous CDATA device models. These devices, by default, lack SSL/TLS for HTTP and SSH, and only support unencrypted HTTP, Telnet, and SNMP for remote management. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.9) allows attackers to intercept passwords and conduct man-in-the-middle attacks due to the cleartext transmission of credentials. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
