CVE-2020-28405

CVE-2020-28405 is an improper authorization vulnerability in Star Practice Management Web version 2019.2.0.6. An authenticated attacker can exploit this to modify user privileges, including granting themselves administrative access or removing existing administrative accounts, leading to full compromise of the application. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges and no user interaction. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
