CVE-2020-28329 describes a critical vulnerability in Barco wePresent WiPG-1600W firmware versions 2.5.1.8, 2.5.0.25, 2.5.0.24, and 2.4.1.19, where a hardcoded API account and password can be discovered by inspecting the firmware image. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to gain full administrative access to the device's API, leading to complete compromise. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction required, enabling high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
