CVE-2020-27509 describes a persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Galaxkey Secure Mail Client versions up to 5.6.11.5. An attacker can achieve account takeover by injecting a malicious XSS payload into the email subject field during an intercepted HTTP POST request, which then executes when the recipient logs into their mailbox. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.4) requires user interaction and network access, but has a low attack complexity.
