CVE-2020-25752 describes a hardcoded password vulnerability affecting Enphase Envoy R3.x and D4.x devices. Attackers can easily calculate installer and Enphase account passwords by retrieving the device's serial number from an unauthenticated endpoint and combining it with static strings and MD5 hashing. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.3) allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain unauthorized access, potentially leading to information disclosure. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
