CVE-2020-25257 is a critical XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Hyland OnBase, including 16.0.2.83 and below, 17.0.2.109 and below, 18.0.0.37 and below, 19.8.16.1000 and below, and 20.3.10.1000 and below. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to achieve full read/write access to arbitrary files on affected systems over the network with low attack complexity. Despite its high severity, there is currently no public exploit code available (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), and it has not been added to CISA's KEV catalog, nor is there any significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding it.
