CVE-2020-25237 is a Zip-Slip vulnerability affecting Siemens SINEC NMS (all versions < V1.0 SP1 Update 1) and SINEMA Server (all versions < V14.0 SP2 Update 2). An authenticated attacker can exploit this by uploading a specially crafted zip file, allowing them to create or overwrite arbitrary files outside the intended directory. With a CVSS score of 8.1 (High), this vulnerability poses a significant risk for integrity and availability compromise, as it can be exploited remotely with low complexity and no user interaction.
