CVE-2020-23972 describes an unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the GMapFP component for Joomla! versions J3.5 and J3.5free. Attackers can bypass authentication to upload malicious files by manipulating content-type and using double extensions, leading to high integrity impact. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High) and an EPSS score indicating significant exploitability, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction.
