CVE-2020-1759 is a nonce reuse vulnerability in the secure mode of the messenger v2 protocol affecting Red Hat Ceph Storage 4 and Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage 4.2. This flaw allows an attacker to forge authentication tags and potentially manipulate data due to the reuse of a nonce within a session, compromising confidentiality and integrity. Rated 6.8 MEDIUM, exploitation requires high attack complexity and user interaction, but could lead to high impact on confidentiality and integrity.
