CVE-2020-17528 is a critical out-of-bounds write vulnerability affecting the TCP stack of Apache NuttX versions up to and including 9.1.0 and 10.0.0. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted TCP packets with arbitrary urgent data pointer offsets, leading to memory corruption. With a CVSS score of 9.1, this vulnerability poses a high risk for confidentiality and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, and it is not known to be actively exploited.
