CVE-2020-13595 is a medium-severity vulnerability affecting Espressif ESP-IDF versions 4.0 through 4.2 on ESP32 devices. An attacker within radio range can send specially crafted Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) packets, causing the BLE controller to return an incorrect number of completed packets and trigger an assertion failure on the host stack. This results in a denial of service, disabling the target device's BLE stack.
