CVE-2020-13500 describes a critical SQL injection vulnerability within the CHaD.asmx web service of AVEVA eDNA Enterprise Data Historian versions 3.0.1.2 and 7.5.4989.33053. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious SQL queries via the ClassName parameter in specially crafted SOAP web requests. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (CRITICAL), successful exploitation can lead to complete compromise of data (confidentiality, integrity, and availability). There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
