24
FAUCET Score

CVE-2020-13111 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting NaviServer versions 4.99.4 through 4.99.19. It stems from improper length validation in the nsd/driver.c ChunkedDecode function, allowing a remote attacker to craft a malicious chunked-transfer request. This can lead to a negative value being passed to memmove, causing the NaviServer process to crash. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and no user interaction, resulting in high availability impact. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
