CVE-2020-12702 describes a weak encryption vulnerability in the Quick Pairing mode of the eWeLink mobile application (Android V4.9.2 and earlier, iOS V4.9.1 and earlier), affecting Coolkit eWeLink products. This medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 4.6) allows physically proximate attackers to eavesdrop on Wi-Fi credentials and other sensitive information during the pairing process due to the insecure encryption.
