CVE-2020-11179 is a high-severity vulnerability affecting various Qualcomm Snapdragon products, including Auto, Mobile, and IoT platforms. It allows an attacker with local, low-privileged access to achieve arbitrary kernel read and write capabilities by exploiting a race condition involving a temporarily overwritten ring buffer pointer.
