CVE-2020-11117 describes a critical remote code execution vulnerability (CWE-77) affecting Qualcomm Snapdragon Connectivity, Consumer IOT, and Wired Infrastructure and Networking products, specifically in the lbd service of various IPQ and QCA chipsets. An unauthenticated external attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted debug command to overwrite arbitrary files, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
