CVE-2019-9845 describes a critical arbitrary code execution vulnerability in madskristensen Miniblog.Core through January 16, 2019. Attackers can exploit this by submitting an IMG element with a data: URL, allowing the server to write a decoded base64 string to a file without proper extension validation, ultimately executing arbitrary ASPX code. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
