CVE-2019-9735 is a medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 6.5) in OpenStack Neutron's iptables firewall module, affecting versions before 10.0.8, 11.0.7, 12.0.6, and 13.0.3. An authenticated user can disrupt security group rule application for instances on compute hosts by configuring a security group rule with a destination port for a protocol that doesn't support it, such as VRRP. This denial-of-service attack is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges.
