CVE-2019-4448 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting IBM DB2 High Performance Unload load for LUW versions 6.1 through 6.1.0.2 IF1. The db2hpum and db2hpum_debug binaries, setuid root, allow a low-privileged user to load arbitrary DB2 libraries from a privileged context, leading to arbitrary code execution with root authority. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), this vulnerability has a local attack vector, low attack complexity, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
