CVE-2019-3932

49
FAUCET Score

CVE-2019-3932 describes an authentication bypass vulnerability in Crestron AM-100 (firmware 1.6.0.2) and AM-101 (firmware 2.7.0.2) devices, stemming from a hard-coded password in the return.tgi script. This critical vulnerability (CVSS 9.8) allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to gain full control over external devices via the uart_bridge, leading to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. While no active exploitation or public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) has been identified, and community discussion is minimal, the inherent ease of exploitation (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N) poses a significant risk.
