CVE-2019-3597 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability affecting McAfee Network Security Manager (NSM) versions 9.1 (prior to 9.1.7.75.2) and 9.2 (prior to 9.2.7.31). This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to gain full administrator rights by exploiting incorrect handling of expired GUI sessions. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
